Scriptures We're Holding Onto
Some seasons call for celebration. Others ask for endurance. And often, the words we need most are the ones we've read before—but hear differently because of where we are today.
This month, these are the Scriptures we're returning to. They've reminded us to slow down, trust God's timing, and remember that His presence is often found in the ordinary moments.
Whether you're beginning something new, navigating uncertainty, or simply looking for a moment of peace, we hope these verses encourage you the way they've encouraged us.
When Life Feels Busy
"Be still, and know that I am God."
Psalm 46:10
Stillness doesn't always come naturally. Our schedules fill quickly, our minds stay occupied, and silence can feel unfamiliar. Yet throughout Scripture, God continually invites His people to pause—not because He needs our attention, but because we need His presence.
This week, create space for a few quiet moments each day. You may be surprised by what God speaks in the silence.
When You Need Direction
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight."
Proverbs 3:5–6
Not every season comes with clear answers. Sometimes faith looks less like certainty and more like taking the next faithful step.
Even when we don't understand where God is leading, we can trust the One who does.
When You're Waiting
"Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not faint."
Isaiah 40:31
Waiting can feel like standing still, but Scripture reminds us that God is often doing His deepest work beneath the surface.
Growth isn't always visible.
Neither is faithfulness.
Keep showing up. Keep trusting. God hasn't forgotten you.
When You Need Peace
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God... will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
Philippians 4:6–7
Peace isn't the absence of uncertainty.
It's the presence of God within it.
Whatever you're carrying today, you don't have to carry it alone.
A Quiet Reflection
Which verse speaks to your current season?
Write it somewhere you'll see it often—a journal, a sticky note on your mirror, the lock screen on your phone, or beside your bed.
Let God's Word become part of the rhythm of your everyday life.
Sometimes one verse is enough to steady your heart for an entire season.
This Month's Prayer
Father,
Thank You for speaking through Your Word. When we feel overwhelmed, remind us to be still. When we feel uncertain, teach us to trust. When we're waiting, strengthen our faith. And when we need peace, help us remember that You are always near.
May Your Word shape our thoughts, our homes, and our lives.
Amen.
